My name is Ashanti, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity. My passion for technology began back in high school, inspired by my uncle, who built and repaired computers. His curiosity and enthusiasm for technology sparked my own, and those early experiences left a lasting impression. Over the years, I explored different paths, but the call of IT and problem-solving through technology never left me.

My professional background has given me valuable insight into how technology impacts everyday life. Working in the financial sector, I saw firsthand how vulnerable people can be to cyber threats. Watching clients lose money to scams was both frustrating and eye-opening, and it solidified my determination to pursue a career where I could make a meaningful difference. Cybersecurity, to me, is not just about firewalls and code—it’s about protecting people and giving them confidence in the digital world.

My career goal is to become a cybersecurity analyst with special interests in data security, cloud computing, and software development. This blog will be a place where I share insights, learning experiences, and resources that can help others who are also beginning their journey into IT.
